面试时给移民官的印象有两条原则: 自信 在面对移民官时一定要自信。 西方人不相信所谓谦虚,所以回答问题是绝不能嗫嗫喏喏,行就是行,不行也让对方相信你行。我所知道的一个面试故事可以证明自信的重要,故事的主人职业是文学编辑,但他是以计算机来申请的。当面试是移民官问他“大学是是文学专业,怎么可以计算机申请”时,他回答,“我有能力做好任何事情,学理工的学好计算机并不算能耐,我学文学的学好计算机才真正说明我的适应能力很强,所以我能迅速适应在加拿大那样一个新环境”。于是移民官给他过了。还有一个哥们更有意思,他不但专业不好,英语还特差,他讲什么移民官根本听不懂,移民官要叫翻译,他说,是你需要翻译,我不需要。最后移民官没有办法,也给他过了。所以说,不论以哪个专业申请,首先自己不能心虚,因此,自信是第一位的。 另外,考虑一下移民官本身的职业,也许能增添一点你的自信。移民官在加拿大其实并不能算很好的职业,年薪才三万多块。他们可能犯的错误有两种,一是把不合格的放过了,二是把合格的拒掉了。第一种决不会有申请人上诉,而政府也无据可查。而第二种则有可能引起申请人上诉。虽然有人起诉对移民官本身没有什么影响,但如果经常被起诉在领导面前会留下坏印象,移民官也不原犯这类错误。所以,你的面试目的是告诉移民官,拒掉你他就犯了第二类错误。 真实 真实性是指你面试时所说的话必须和你的专业及经历符合,千万不能漏出破绽。另外,为了面试,你必须好好准备专业知识。要知道,面试时,移民官可能不把你的英语排在第一位,而把你的专业真实性排在第一位。特别是大学专业与所申请不符或大学不太有名的,更要把准备专业知识放在第一位。他一般会问一些专业知识和工作经历,包括你推荐信上所列的项目,你单位的情况等。 另外,移民官也许会问你一些移民动机之类的问题,记住“我喜欢加拿大,我去就是为了定居工作(而非去美国或上学)”,若问你在中国有什么不好,说一些当前解决不了的问题,如污染等。另外还会问一些有关加拿大的知识,这些都是移民官在打发时间。如果开始问你这类问题,你就差不多通过了。 最后,注意回答问题要直接,不要饶舌 面试前的准备 一、专业知识 二、英语会话 三、常见问题 下面是一些移民官常问的问题,仅供参考: 1.
